Every Bonfire Night the unique Dartmoor based community arts event of Sticklepath Fireshow thrills up to 3000 local and even national visitors. Young and old from the community in and around the village of Sticklepath near Okehampton, Devon get together every Autumn to create a magnificent artistic Fireshow unlike any other. Every year a new theme and drama storyline is developed, ready for the making of small through to sometimes vast puppets, many worn by the cast. Music is planned, costumes are designed and made and an amazing outdoor stage is lovingly built only to be burnt on the night after a fabulous fireworks display following the play.
